Autumn Equinox Hike at the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary in Newtown, Sept. 27th

THE REASONS FOR THE SEASONS – FALL EQUINOX 2020 HIKE

An Autumn Equinox Hike is planned at the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary, 3 Old Farm Road, Newtown, CT, on September 27th, from 3pm to 4pm.

Come explore the sanctuary and learn “the reasons for the seasons” through changes in the air, land, and water as nature transitions from summer to fall.Light to moderate hike through fields and wood chipped paths.

Limited to 32 people and begins promptly at 3:05 so don’t be late!

Please note: All participants MUST register (no walk-ins) and children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. All guests must wear masks and practice social distancing by family.

ABOUT

The sanctuary honors the memory of six-year-old Catherine, a kind and compassionate animal lover who lost her life at Sandy Hook Elementary on December 14th 2012. To continue her crusade of compassion, the CVH Animal Sanctuary is being created in Newtown, CT – a place where all creatures will know they are safe and people are kind.
